We would like to congratulate the newly elected officers of Students for Academic Choice, ALL of which are students from one of America’s FAMILY OWNED COLLEGES UNIVERSITIES AND SCHOOLS!! Career college students around the country elected Dawn Connor for President from Globe University-Eau Claire, Rob Robertson for Vice president from Keiser University and Amy Newman, elected Secretary from Bryan College.

In a meeting in Washington, a group of concerned college students united after talks that the Department of Education is seeking to restrict access to programs by redefining the idea of what constitutes Gainful Employment in a recognized occupation for purposes of Title IV student loan eligibility. Their mission is to fully enfranchise themselves as students with the same rights, opportunities and benefits as others who pursue higher education.

Dawn Connor, President elect of this organization stated, “I hope to be a positive representative for the 2.8 million career college students working toward their educational goals.”

Way to go Student Leaders!!
